This is my 2023 challenge where I make a ceramic fox every week that represents an experience from that time. By the end of the year, I’ll have 50 custom foxes and 50 memories celebrated!

My goal with this project is two-fold: 1) to improve and push my hand-building skills, and 2) to have a weekly container through which I can reflect on how things are going and honor both the highs and lows. Lately I have been feeling like "time goes by fast but life is long," in that time seems to pass very quickly for me these days though life is a rich and expansive-feeling experience to be savored, so doing projects like this (as well as journaling and reading) are my ways of balancing that dichotomy.

This project is now complete and was updated monthly on Instagram. By the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024, I hope to display these in a group and/or solo show!
